Custom Theme causes an issue with Elementor preview

I’m writing a little Theme for my own Worpress-Instance and everything just works fine. After installing Elementor I tried to edit a page with it and got an error saying “Preview could not be loaded.”
I can activate safe mode and it actually runs Elementor. I can even check the preview which works fine as well. So I’m not sure what the actual issue causes. It’s definitly my theme, since any other theme works as expected. So I reduced my theme as much as possible. I found some threads stating that I could be missing the the_content(); – Tag but it’s still not working.

My file structure looks like this:

/css/

main.css

content.php
footer.php
header.php
index.php
page.php
single.php
singular.php
style.css

The index.php, page.php, single.php and singular.php are all having the same could by now:

<?php get_header(); ?>
<div class=”row”>
<div class=”main”>

<section>

<?php if (have_posts()) {
while (have_posts()) {
the_post();
the_content();
}
} ?>

</section>

</div>
</div>
<?php get_footer(); ?>

Following the hints of some threads it should be enough to get Elementor to work. But I’m obviously missing something.
Could anyone help me here or tell me where I need to look?
