I wanna store any number of dates to a product variation in WooCommerce. And I want every date to get it’s own ID. That’s why I can’t store them as a non-single meta data.
I’m thinking of creating a custom post type for this, for example product_dates, but that wouldn’t be deleted when you delete a product. Of course there is probably a possibility for that too. But I first wanna find out if there is any more suitable solution for what I wanna do.
Is taxonomy and terms a suitable option? A taxonomy called product_dates and every date will be a term to that taxonomy?
Feels not perfect since taxonomies is made for different type of categories, right? Or is it made for even purposes like this? Or does WordPress have any other way of storing data that is mor appropriate?
