Jupiter Theme Custom Icons Not Working in Header

houzz icon in jupiter theme header icons

The Jupiter social media icons don’t natively allow you to add custom icons. But I found this tutorial:

Here are the following changes that I made – which followed the tutorial exactly.

1. jupiter/framework/admin/control-panel/v2/panes/icon-library.php

Added the following to lines 60-61

<span class="mka-select-list-item" data-value="themeicons">
    <?php esc_html_e( 'Theme Icons', 'mk_framework' ); ?>

2. jupiter/assets/icons/theme-icons/map.json

Added the following code to the end of the file

3. jupiter/assets/icons/theme-icons/svg

I created the file e69c.svg

Added the following svg code to e69c.svg

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><!-- Generator: Adobe Illustrator 16.0.0, SVG Export Plug-In . SVG Version: 6.00 Build 0)  --><!DOCTYPE svg PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD SVG 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11.dtd"><svg version="1.1" id="Layer_1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" x="0px" y="0px" width="16px" height="16px" viewBox="632 392 16 16" enable-background="new 632 392 16 16" xml:space="preserve"> <g> <path d="M639.998,392.016c-4.417,0-7.998,3.577-7.998,7.99c0,4.412,3.581,7.989,7.998,7.989c4.416,0,7.997-3.577,7.997-7.989 C647.995,395.592,644.414,392.016,639.998,392.016z M643.9,404.373h-2.885v-2.961h-2.086v2.961h-2.834v-8.737h2.021v2.107 l5.783,1.647V404.373z"/></g></svg>

4. jupiter/framework/admin/control-panel/logic/icons-list.php

Added the following code at the end of the file.

1909 => array(
    'n' => 'mk-jupiter-icon-custom',
    'l' => 'themeicons',

5. jupiter/framework/admin/theme-options/masterkey.php

Added the following code underneath google-plus

'houzz' => array( 'Houzz', 'mk-jupiter-icon-custom' ),

Now in the screenshot in the tutorial – Houzz is now showing up.

But on the website, it doesn’t show up. FYI the Houzz icon showing up is the WordPress one jus swapped out. It should appear beside it.

Any help would be appreciated!
